The Latin American Medical Association (LAMAH) introduced its pilot program “CALM: Camino a la Medicina” during Career Day on March 4 at St. Peter Catholic High School’s Career & Technical Education department. The event took place from 8:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Students and faculty participated in career-oriented activities while learning about LAMAH’s new initiative designed to guide young students toward medical careers. The introduction of CALM marked a significant step in LAMAH’s ongoing commitment to fostering medical career pathways, offering early exposure to health professions through the school’s Career & Technical Education framework.
