LAMAH’s committees offer physician members an opportunity to share their expertise, collaborate with colleagues, develop meaningful initiatives, and help shape the future of our organization. Members may participate at any level, whether volunteering a few hours during the year or taking on a more active role.

Committee Opportunities

Community Outreach

Develop health education programs, volunteer opportunities, health fairs, and community partnerships.

Marketing, Strategic Alliances & Sponsorship

Promote LAMAH’s mission, build partnerships, engage sponsors, and support the organization’s growth.

Mentorship & Scholarship

Create mentorship opportunities, support scholarship initiatives, and connect medical students, residents, and practicing physicians.

Membership

Recruit and welcome new members, strengthen engagement, and enhance the value of membership.

Gala Committee

Help plan and execute LAMAH’s signature fundraising event through sponsorship development, logistics, auction support, and volunteer coordination.
