What is CALM?
CALM is a mentorship and college-readiness program for high school students who want to explore careers in medicine and healthcare (MD, nursing, PA, PT, dentistry, public health, biomedical, and more)

Our Partner: First Gen Texas (High School Cohort)
For the HS cohort, CALM partners with First Gen Texas, a Houston-based nonprofit whose mission is to provide free college counseling, mentorship, and bilingual support—helping students build strong academic/extracurricular foundations and secure financial aid and scholarships. They also provide checklists and resources (including FAFSA and SAT/ACT prep
resources).
Who should join?
- Students in grades 9-12 who are interested in healthcare
- Students who are exploring (not sure yet is okay!)
- Students who want a clear plan and support for college admissions + financial aid
