Dr. Grethel Veronica Ruiz is a board-certified family and geriatric medicine physician with over 15 years of experience delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to diverse populations. She earned her medical degree from UCIMED in Costa Rica, completed her residency at the Family Medicine Residency Program in Austin, Texas, and pursued a geriatric fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.
Throughout her career, Dr. Ruiz has held academic, clinical, and leadership roles in both Texas and Rhode Island, with a strong emphasis on senior care, medical education, and quality improvement. Fluent in Spanish and English, she is deeply committed to serving multicultural communities and advancing health equity.
