In April, LAMAH partnered with Houston Welcomes Refugees to support families beginning new lives in our city. Our volunteers gathered at their warehouse to help pack hundreds of Welcome Kits—filled with essential items that provide comfort, dignity, and a sense of belonging to newly arrived refugee families.
These kits are part of a broader mission to mobilize Houston in welcoming refugees with compassion, hope, and honor. For families arriving with little more than a dream, this support is a meaningful first step toward adapting to life in the United States.
