LAMAH is proud to deepen its collaboration with the University of Houston Tillman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine by supporting its preceptorship program, an essential pathway for shaping the next generation of physicians. Our shared goal is to increase the number of Latino physician faculty involved with the school, creating more opportunities for students to learn from experienced clinicians who reflect the communities they will serve.
By encouraging practicing physicians to engage with the university as preceptors and mentors, we aim to foster stronger professional relationships, enrich clinical training, and build a more connected pipeline of future doctors.
